Fall Wreath with LED Lights
It’s that time again. Time to hang up the fall wreath on the front door. But I have a confession to make. I’ve been using the same fall wreath for 3 years now! Gasp… I know! But not this year! No, this year I’ve decided to start from scratch and incorporate something from my online store to add a unique touch.

I found a ho-hum pre-made wreath at the craft store a few weeks ago, and because it was on sale I bought it. I liked it’s basket design, but I felt it was lacking in style. So I took it home and added a few things, like some ribbon and a bow, and of course some bright LED lights.

Our Buds Lighted Branch seemed like a good choice for the wreath. But, I had to do a little custom work on the back of the wreath to fit the battery pack in it and make sure it was secure so it wouldn’t fall out every time the door shut. And with a few wire ties, that was an easy fix.

Then I found some wire ribbon on clearance at the craft store, and decided to add it to the wreath. I use a metal wreath hanger on my front door, but I wanted it to look like the wreath was being hung by the bow and ribbon instead. So, I cut a slit in the back of the ribbon and ‘hid’ the metal wreath hanger hook behind it. Now it looks like the wreath is hung up by the bow and ribbon.
